The purpose of the Young Democrats of Surry County is to support and represent the Democratic Party and the people of Surry County in the following way:
1. Promote and active interest in governmental affairs at the local, state and national level among young people.
2. Promote the issues and agenda of the Democratic Party within Surry County.
3. To support the Surry County Democratic Party by assisting with events, functions and campaigns.
4. To play an active role in affairs or the Surry County Democratic Party, State and National party.
5. Provide support for candidates in local, statewide and federal elections within Surry Country and the representative districts.
6. Work for the benefit of the people of Surry County through community service projects.
